Building purpose-driven, human-centered products

Happy customers are the best marketers, which sums up the evolution of my career, from marketing communications to user experience. Formally trained in qualitative and quantitative user research methods, I specialize in usability testing, heuristic evaluations, and qualitative data analysis.

“The purpose of life is not to be happy. It is to be useful, to be honorable, to be compassionate, to have it make some difference that you have lived and lived well.” - Ralph Waldo Emerson

I believe work should be driven by passion, which is why I work with clients that align with my personal values. My values are:

  • Transparency: Loyalty and honesty build trust and authenticity

  • Mobility: Whether traveling across town or around the world, mobility provides us with meaning, compassion, and empathy

  • Inclusivity: Giving everyone a seat at the table fosters creativity, innovation, and equality

  • Sustainability: Reduce negative environmental and societal impacts as much as possible; always strive for optimal efficiency

Prior to user experience research, I managed social media channels for brands like Adobe and Sunrun, where I interfaced with users, fielded product feedback, and evangelized customer needs to product teams. My motivation has always remained the same: to empower decision makers with reliable customer insights so that they can provide consumers with more usable, purposeful, and accessible experiences.

In my personal time, I like to ride my Kia Soul EV to hiking spots in Washington. I hold a bachelor's degree in communications from California State University, Fullerton, as well as a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200) certification with Yoga Alliance.
